What's new in CraftShot: a seller-first product photo update
This is not a list of model names. It is a note for people who have to photograph candles, jewelry, pottery, soap, and small-batch goods between pouring, packing, and answering shop messages.
CraftShot exists to do one job: same product, better photos. The current workspace is built around that line, not around generic AI experiments.
What you can do today
In the image workspace you upload one real product photo, choose a product type, and generate the frames a listing actually uses:
- Clean listing photos for inspection
- Lifestyle scenes for context
- Gift-ready shots for present-minded shoppers
- Social crops for restocks and launches
- Graphic posts for materials, size, scent, or care
Category pages exist when you need a tighter starting point: Etsy listing sets, candles, and jewelry.
English and Chinese routes are first-class. The shop workflow should not change because you switched language.
What we will not claim
CraftShot is not a video product. It does not publish to Etsy for you. It does not invent a back view you never photographed.
If a generated image changes the shape, label, color, or texture of the item you sell, treat that file as a miss. Keep the honest source photo, or generate again. The Etsy policy guide is the review standard we want sellers to use.
How we think about credits
You should not need a studio day to launch one SKU. Generate the jobs you need, review them, and download the keepers.
When you are ready to run this as a weekly shop habit, pricing is on a separate page. We are not changing plans in this post. The only product promise here is that credits are for product photos you can stand behind.
What we are optimizing next, as sellers
The work is still the unglamorous part:
- Stronger product preservation on labels and small handmade marks
- Clearer listing-set defaults so you spend less time deciding which style to click
- Guides that sound like a shop owner, not a model scoreboard
If you have been using CraftShot, the request is simple: keep sending the cases where the scene is right and the product drifted. That is the bug that matters.
A short launch reminder
A useful handmade listing is still a small set, not a feed of random beauty shots. If you want a refresher, start with how to build an Etsy listing photo set from one real product photo.
Upload the object you ship. Change the room if you need to. Do not change the object.
