Same bar. Better photos.
CraftShot turns a real handmade soap photo into the listing set soap makers need: a clean hero, a bath lifestyle scene, a gift-ready frame, and an ingredient or texture crop. Light and background can change. Bar shape, cut, swirl, color, and any botanicals or labels the camera actually saw should not.

These frames are already in CraftShot: three real hand-cut bars, then a quieter listing scene. Upload your soap the same way — a clear front hero is enough to start. Do not ask the model to invent botanicals, molds, stamps, or labels the camera never saw.
The listing set a soap shopper uses to decide.
A soap buyer inspects the bar, imagines the bath, checks giftability, then looks for texture and ingredient proof. Compete with that full set. Do not invent a prettier loaf than the one you will wrap.
Clean listing
A quiet hero that survives a tiny Etsy thumbnail: silhouette, cut edges, swirl, and true bar color stay readable.
Bath lifestyle
A towel, stone tray, or warm bath surface helps people imagine use. The bars, colors, and handmade ridges still have to match the soap in the wrap.
Gift-ready
Kraft wrap, twine, or a quiet boxed scene sell the occasion. The soap inside the scene must still be the SKU you pack.
Texture and ingredients
Close crops should show swirl, cut, and botanicals that exist in your photo — not a new mold, seed, petal, or stamped label.
Start with the bar you ship. Add real angles only when you have them.
The workspace opens from one upload. A sharp front hero is the required start. Side cuts, loaf ends, ingredient close-ups, and wrapped bars help only when they are real photos of the same soap.
Upload the soap you wrap and ship
Use a clear front hero. If you already shot a side cut, loaf end, ingredient detail, or wrapped bar, generate those jobs from those files. Do not ask the model to invent a view the camera never saw.
Generate the listing jobs
Create a clean cover, a bath lifestyle scene, a gift-ready frame, and one texture crop. Add a graphic post only for a fact you already stand behind — scent, oils, or skin notes you actually use.
Review for product fidelity
Keep the scene if it helps. Discard the file if bar shape, swirl, color, botanicals, mold, stamp, or any label no longer match the real soap.

Handmade soap photo questions
Can I use AI photos for handmade soap on Etsy?
They are more defensible when they still show the soap you will ship. Improving light, background, and crop is a different job from inventing botanicals, molds, or labels. Review every frame. This is not legal advice; check Etsy’s current handmade and listing policies.
Will CraftShot invent ingredients, molds, or labels?
It is built to preserve visible product details and change the scene around them. It should not invent petals, seeds, stamps, loaf molds, or labels the camera never saw. If a result drifts, do not publish it.
What should I upload first?
Start with a sharp front hero: full bar silhouette, true color, readable cut edges, and any swirl or botanicals that are actually on the soap. Recommended extras — when you already have them — are a side cut, a loaf end, an ingredient close-up, and a wrapped bar. The current workspace starts from one photo at a time.
Does this work for single bars, stacks, and wrapped soap?
Yes. Single bars, stacked sets, and already-wrapped soaps work when the source photo is honest. Use a separate source for each SKU and colorway. Do not reuse a rose-and-ochre stack to sell a charcoal loaf.
Can I try a photo before opening the full workspace?
Yes. The homepage trial uses the same product-fidelity idea. When you are ready for a listing set, continue in the image workspace from this page.
